Description:
Most of us have a “shoebox,” a place where we store those items we think are important and want to get back to later, whether it’s an actual shoebox, a spreadsheet or a notebook. We also have relatives we'd like to share information with and from whom we'd like to get information.
This class will help you make progress in your genealogy, organize follow up, and collaborate with your greater family to maximize your research efforts.
The class will include Instruction in creating a substack newsletter as a place for collaboration, telling a visual story and leveraging information from photos, and tackling your genealogy shoebox.
Participants are encouraged to bring their phone, their laptop or tablet, items from their own genealogy shoebox, and at least one “legacy” photo.
