The Changing World of Genealogy: Things Past, Present, and Future
If you have been researching your family history for even one month, you are aware of the rapidly changing world of genealogy. It changes hourly on some days! Websites, indexes, digitized records, and finding aids abound. DNA, criminology, scanning, privacy concerns, social media, and more are “new.” What about records access, limitations, and handling modern families and names? Some things haven’t changed; education remains the key. Sit back and observe some changes and get ready for the future.
