About the Presenter:
“Jay” Fonkert, CG, has researched Norwegian Morstads, Swedish Falks, German Roembkes, English Tidballs, and Kentucky Fawkners for more than 25 years. He has lectured in a dozen states, taught at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, and published more than 75 research and teaching articles, including three in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly. He is past-president of the Minnesota Genealogical Society, a former trustee of the BCG Education Fund, and co-managing editor of Minnesota Genealogist.
